Do I have to create an account to make a purchase?

While it's not necessary to have an account to shop with us, it can make for a quicker and easier checkout process. Having account is easier to track your purchase and your order details.


How is the shipping cost decided?
Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. The shipping cost is based on the total order value, so it varies accordingly. For more details, please see our Shipping Policy. 


What are made-to-order products?
Each piece made by some of our vendors (third party) takes a considerable amount of time and effort, hence your product is made only after they have received your order. Your order will be dispatched within 10- 12 days from the date of your order confirmation.


Do Kayati sizes confirm to international norms?
There are no true international norms for clothing as every company tends to have its own sizing standards. Please refer to our Size Guide. The best approach is to take your own measurements and compare these to our measurement charts.


What are the advantages of the selection of fabrics that we use?
The process and techniques of production gives the textile a unique character. In addition, some special kind of fabrics breathe well, are cool in summer and retain body warmth in the winter.


Do you take orders over the phone?
No. We do not take orders over the phone. Customers would have to place the order themselves by logging on the website. However, you can email the customer care support for any difficulties faced by you.


I have already placed my order. Can I add more items to the same?
No. Once the order is placed, you won’t be able to add more items in it. You will have to place another order to shop again.


Can I modify the shipping address of my order after it has been placed?
The shipping address of your order can only be modified if your order hasn’t been packed yet at our warehouse.

What should I do if I receive a damaged/defective/incomplete/wrong order from Kayati?
For any defective/ damaged/incomplete/wrong order delivered, we request you to inform us within 48 hours of receiving the order with the images of the product received and follow the instructions to upload the images. Please keep in mind the following:
 
You need to upload a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 pictures.
Kindly ensure the images are clear and the damaged/defective/missing part of the outfit is highlighted in red.
You must send us an image of the original labels and tags intact along with the invoice. 
In case you face any technical difficulties in following this process, kindly             get in touch with us on customersupport@kayati.in  or                                       WhatsApp  us on +91-9769895903. We will then investigate the case and reply within 48 hours with the best available resolution.
Any such complaint raised after 48 hours of receiving the order may not be considered.

          Product Condition & Product Care

          Product Condition for an exchange.

          1. Please be careful when trying on clothing, items must be returned in their original condition. Original condition means that items must be unused and unworn, with no marks, scent or damage.
          2. Items should be returned in their original packaging with product tags attached.
          3. Majority of our items contain embellishments and embroidery and therefore fragile in their usage. From time to time beading/ sequence may get displaced and this is not regarded as a fault but is due to the nature of the work. These garments should be worn with care.

          Product Care

          1. Please ensure that the first wash is 'Dry Clean' only.
          2. Heavy embroidered items can only be Dry Cleaned.
          3. More casual items should be washed separately in cold water and rinsed thoroughly.
          4. Please note that due to hand dyeing methods used the colors are not guaranteed.
          5. We cannot be liable for any damage to your garments due to not complying with the washing instructions given.
